Constitution day was celebrated at NBNSTIC on 29th November 2016 at 13.45.. Function started with the speech of Mrs. Pooja Kulkarni, Asst. Professor, Department of Electrical Engineering. Mrs. Kulkarni highlighted the special features and importance of Indian Constitution.  A preamble was explained by Miss. Priyanka Solshe, student, BE Electrical. Miss. Shruti Dagade recited  her own poem on Indian Constitution. A pledge was given to all those who were present to take India to greater heights.

DIGITAL PUNE HACKATHON 2015

Achievements of Students of NBN Sinhgad School of Engineering, Ambegaon at DIGITAL PUNE HACKATHON 2015

10th -11th October 2015

'Digital Pune Hackathon 2015' is a unique innovation competition followed by 24 hours non-stop Hackathon to identify new, disruptive and sustainable digital innovations for solving current challenges of Pune city. It is organized by Persistent Systems Ltd., Sakal Media Group & i4c and important Pune establishments like Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd (MSEDCL) Pune, Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA), Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Ltd. (PMPML), Maharashtra Police (Pune), Persistent Computing Institute (PCI) and National Institute for Research in Tuberculosis (NIRT) are the supporting partners.

Total 350 teams participated from various engineering colleges such as College of Engineering Pune, Sinhgad College of Engineering, Maharashtra Institute of Technology, Vishwakarma Institute of Technology, Pune Vidhyarthi Griha's College of Engineering and Technology, Modern College of Engineering etc across pune city. Out of these 350 teams top 32 teams were shortlisted. Among these top 32 teams 2 teams were from NBN Sinhgad School of Engineering, Pune. The actual research started about 30 days before the Hackathon 2015. The team went through a preliminary presentation in college on the idea on 18th September. The team was required to create a social media footprint through many social networking sites so as to create awareness among the people.  The participants met the PMPML and PMC executives to better understand their needs in PMPML,PMC and tried to incorporate all their suggestions.

The actual Digital Pune Hackathon 2015 organized by Persistent was conducted over a course of 30 hours with all the 32 teams expected to code nonstop and develop working models of their concepts. The team started at 8 AM Saturday 10th October 2015.  Every member of the team had a fixed role and contributed towards success.

Texas Instruments India Analog Maker Competition 2015

 

The Department of Electronics and Telecommunication and E & TC Club of NBN SSOE organized Texas Instruments India Analog Maker Competition 2015 in association with EdGate Technologies Pvt. Ltd., and Texas Instruments India University. The competition comprised of 2 rounds.

186 students worked on WEBEBCH in Round I held on 12/09/2015. Round II was held on 22/09/2015 in which 64 shortlisted students worked on analog circuit design. Amol Datar (TE E&TC), Akshay Waghmare (TE E&TC) and Prasiddhi Khairnar (ME E&TC), Akanksha Agarwal (ME E&TC) were the two winning teams of the competition.
