Description:

The event “Professional Ethics and Etiquettes” organized by INFORMATION TECHONOLOGY was started at 11.00amon 3rdOctober 2019 (Thursday). The event was organized at NBNSSOE. The total no of participants were 54.

 

The resource people wereProf. Sujata K. Biyani, Vice Principal and HoD of Humanities and Prof. Rupali Patil, Lecturer, at Sou Venutai Chavan Polytechnic, Pune.The expert lecture commenced at 11.00 am. Guest lecture was delivered on Business Etiquettes and manners that one must follow. Student were interested and actively participated in the seminar.

This event was concluded at 1.45 pm, followed by the vote of thanks by Prof.Tejashree Paigude.

Title of workshop: “Introduction to Voice over Internet Protocol”

Date of conduction:19th September 2019 from 09:30 am to 01:30 pm

Description:

Nowadays, internet based home automation is possible with the invention of low-costs computing devices. Voice over Internet Protocol (Voice over IP, VoIP) is one of a family of internet technologies, communication protocols, and transmission technologies for delivery of voice communications and multimedia sessions over Internet Protocol (IP) networks, such as the Internet. Till now VoIP has been a greater influence in our routine activities. By keeping this objectives and scope of VoIP in coming days, IT department organized seminar on “Introduction to Voice over Internet Protocol” which was conducted by Mr. Saurabh Rawat with Mr Sudhanshu Bhat, I-Medita, Pune on 19th September 2019.

In this program, speaker delivered a talk on Basics of VoIP, Introduction to session control protocols to control the set-up and tear-down of calls as well as audio codecs which encode speech allowing transmission over an IP network as digital audio. future scope of VoIP. Speaker also motivates students about the importance of VoIP in real world applications.

Description:
The perspective of this one week workshop is twofold.  First is to train the participants for understanding of principle concepts, major issues, technologies and basic approaches in the area of IoT.  The other perspective is to motivate and encourage research in the area of future internet which is going to be the need of next generation society.

Following topics were discussed in this workshop.

Basic IoT Structure. Stages of IoT, IoT gateway. The Raspberry Platform & IoT. Hands-on coding of Python, Microcontroller, Sensors. Setting up Raspberry PI.
