Patil and a few staff members visited CWPRS, Khadakwasla on 14th June 2016. 14th June is the annual day of CWPRS on which the prototype models of the research work are open for the public and the scientists working on the actual projects explain the analysis of their research. It was a wonderful experience for the teachers to see and learn the on going research.

Mr. Manoj Badave from Tata Motors inaugurated ‘EESA’ and delivered an expert lecture on ‘Role of an Electrical Engineer in Mechanical Industry’. He explained the role of an electrical engineer in substation and machine maintenance, protection and safety of operators and equipment in Mechanical Industry.

Experiential learning is the process of learning from direct experience. Aristotle once said, "For the things we have to learn before we can do them, we learn by doing them”. Experiential learning is learning through reflection on doing, which is often contrasted with didactic learning. Experiential learning is related to, but not synonymous with, experiential education, action learning, adventure learning, free choice learning, cooperative learning, and service learning. While there are relationships and connections between all these theories of education, importantly but they are also separate terms with separate meanings.
Ms. Anjali Chpalkatti taught operating principle of d.c. motor and different types of forces through experiential learning. S.E. students made a d.c. motor from a magnet, rubber band and a coil.

Mr. Parkhi delivered a lecture on personal interview and group discussion techniques to S.E. and T.E. Electrical Students from campus interview point of view. He demonstrated the requirements of interview panel by actually interviewing the students.

Dr. Karve delivered a lecture on different perspectives of energy services such as providing a broad range of energy solutions including designs and implementation of energy savings projects, retrofitting, energy conservation, energy infrastructure outsourcing, power generation and energy supply and risk management.
5. State Level Workshop on MATLAB under QIP Of University of Pune:

Under IIT, Mumbai spoken tutorial project, a workshop on SCILAB was conducted for 34 students of T.E. Electrical on 11th September 2013. An exam, based on the covered syllabus was conducted on 24/12/2014. The qualified students got certificates for completing the course successfully from IIT, Mumbai.
