We are indeed living in Computer age. Today, computers have wide range of applications in almost all the fields. Due to it, in recent years Computer Engineering has received some special attention by today’s technical community.

This course is ideal for those who see their career in wide ranging goals. There are openings in business and management, IT consultancy, Support & analysis etc after completing this course. This course has opportunity for further education like MS, M.Tech, ME.

This department has one of the best infrastructures with latest computers and all type of software to cater the needs of syllabus and providing the real time experience to the students. Department has 8 well equipped labs with the latest printers, scanners, web cameras, speakers etc. All the class rooms are equipped with the computers, LCD projectors and PA system. We have a departmental library endowed with the latest technical books, journals and magazines for their ready reference.

The department is fortunate to have a team of 13 young and dedicated faculties. Out of 13 faculties, 3 faculties are pursuing their PhD program at various reputed universities across India. The department undertakes various activities for the students such as Counseling sessions to identify the non performing students to improve the result and confidence among them. Guest lectures, Industry visits and intercollegiate competitions are organized regularly to improve the soft skills of the students.

We, at Sinhgad Institute, aim to shape up efficient engineers and not just graduates. We encourage individual student in academics as well as in extracurricular activities.
