The mission of the department is not only to provide quality education but also the overall development of students tackle with outside world.

With the growing demand of Electrical Engineers in the Government and Industrial sectors, the Department is taking efforts to produce capable engineers.To produce capable Engineers a right balance between theory and practical is very important.  The quality of academics, good conduct and college activities are designed in such a way as to produce competent and successful engineers who can take up the challenges of the real world. In the Department, the focus is on maintaining good academics as well as multidimensional development of a student by providing industrial trainings during summer and winter vacations, arranging Industrial Visits, workshops, lectures by Industry experts as well as various extra curricular activities. Every year department organizes one competition named “Roll the Energy”which is a very good combination of engineering theories and practices. Sinhgad Technical Education society has various Technical as well as non technical clubs under Sinhgad Students Council through which various activities are conducted throughout the year.

There are total 09 faculty members and two teaching assistants in the department who are involved in training the engineers of future by teaching them skills of Electrical Engineering through practical and theoretical approach.

Finally, it is my pleasure to work with such highly distinguished staff and to serve our passionate students in achieving our department mission and vision.
