About Us
The Information Technology department was established in the year 1999. It is one of the pioneers in starting the course in University of Pune. The department offers undergraduate BE (IT) program. It is one of the few department that is ranked in the Merit List of the University of Pune for its High Quality Standards
The I.T. curriculum shares fundamental courses of computer engineering syllabi and mainly focuses on new paradigms of the IT industries i.e. Software management, software engineering, software quality control, testing and high-end technologies. The course is designed to provide skill set for the role of a leader in the IT industries.
The department has senior and experienced staff. The infrastructure is state of the art and well maintained. The department was accredited by NBA in 2006 and 2009.
The IT department plays a lead role in providing IT related services and support to the other STES establishments
