Research

In year 2004, research centre was established at Department of Chemical Engineering. It is affiliated by University of Pune and recognized by University of Pune. UG, PG and PhD students perform their research work at the centre. Faculty members from the department perusing their PhD also perform research work at the centre. Research work on projects funded by AICTE , BCUD and IIChE also being carried out at the centre.

Various projects on separation science, synthesis and characterization of nano particles , separation of Ni from aqueous solution by nanofiltration , sonophotocatalytic degradation of dyes , herbal extraction have been carried out. All UG, PG, PhD students and faculty members use following analytical instruments for completion of their research work.
