About the library

Sinhgad academy of engineering (SAE) Library is most lively place in the college that enables learning & advancement of knowledge. The mission of SAE Library is to disseminate knowledge & facilitate users for creation of new knowledge. SAE Library is rich in collection which consists of text books, Reference Books, Journals, technical magazines, Generals books, Books for Competitive exam etc. It also subscribes E-journals packages of engineering disciplines of well known International publishers to enhance and promote research activity. Library conduct extension service like book exhibition, orientation program for new users and “Earn & Learn” scheme for needy students.

Library web OPAC is provided to students and faculty for renewal of books and searching library materials. Digital library collection rare books, open source books, college news are made available for students through open source software caliber. This link available through LAN

The library has subscribed to e-journals and scientific databases from DELNET. (DSPACE) Institutional repository which contains hand written notes, lab manual, study notes, study materials, questions bank, syllabus, college magazine is available online in Library.

1. Reading hall with the capacity of 300 students which provides conductive atmosphere for study.
2. Digital Library for online journals access and Internet searching
3. Library has a separate periodicals section to access print journals and technical magazines.
4. The reference section of the library has rich collection of international edition of reference books, handbooks, dictionaries, encyclopedias etc.
5. Institutional Membership: The College is an institutional member of the Jaykar Library, British Council Library and Automotive Research Association of India.(ARAI)
6. (OPAC) Online public access catalogue for easy access of library book database.
7. Reprographic Service.
8. Book bank facility of SC/ST Students.
9. DELNET Subscription for e-books and e-journals.
10. (DSPACE) Institutional Repository facility for staff and students.
