Sou. Venutai Chavan Polytechnic's "Dept. Of Humanities" organized a three days workshop for the In house faculty on " Manthan- Connecting to the Students" from 17 June to 19 June 2013. The aim of the workshop was to train the teachers to understand the stress in the students and in turn guide them and counsel them. The workshop also dealt with how to identify the suicide signals in the students and how to deal with such students.
The trainers were Ms. Sadhana Jamwal (Iristrainings), Dr. Rajeev Saxena (Sinhgad Dental College & Hospital) and Dr. Madhav Ghate (Psychiatrist) from SKN Medical College.
The response for the workshop was overwhelming and all the staffers learnt many things from it.
