Applied Chemistry Laboratory

Experiments performed by students are pH meter, water analysis related to hardness, chloride content, alkalinity which are helpful in day to-day life to decide the suitability of water for drinking, construction or various industrial purposes. Students also performed experiments like    Determination of strength of HCl  by conductivity meter, Inorganic qualitative analysis, Daniel cell, Electrolytic cell etc. are important for engineering field.

Electrical Lab

The Electrical technology lab is equipped with all necessary experimental setup as per norms. Lab is to offer the experiments related to various Electrical Networks, Theorems & characteristics. It is equipped with all measuring instruments, transformers, CRO. Here, in this lab, students learn to measure electrical quantities, verify theorems, and understand characteristics and other important concepts related to experiments.

The lab is also equipped with AC and DC machines. Through hands-on experiments with real machines, students gain practical experience in using various AC & DC motors, alternators, transformers, starters etc.

Physics Lab

Physics is a base of Engineering. College has well equipped, specious laboratory.
Dark room is used for:-

  • To show Dispersion of White ray of light into seven different colors using Spectrometer.
  • Bunsen’s Photometer is used to compare intensity of two light sources.
  • Characteristic of Photoelectric effect – Photo cell converts light energy into electric energy.

General Physics lab:-

  • Velocity of sound can be determined using Resonance Tube.
  • High temperature measurement using Thermocouple.
  • Viscosity of liquids using Stoke’s Tube.
  • Surface Tension of water by using Travelling microscope.
  • Measurement of dimensions of objects using Vernier Caliper and Micrometer screw.
