Induction Program (Date – 29th July 13 to 31st August 2013) Objectives:
A great start of a brand new event at STES, SPECTRUM: the business festival. SIOM had organized the most coveted flagship event ADZILLA and Punk d’ Junk.
SIOM befitted to be the Overall Champions at SPECTRUM.
Practice, Practice and Practice, the 3 sutras of success, as so it was for the most awaited extravaganza, Sinhgad Karandak Neon. To make it perfect, a Dress rehearsal was very IMPORTANT. SIOM students along with the guidance from the Faculty members have put up a great show at the Pre-Karandak followed by Karandak Neon this Year.
SIOM had participated in major events at SPORTS KARANDAK. Apart from participating, SIOM had organized Table Tennis Competition.
OPEX aspires to reach out to a wide network of B-Schools students with the objective of facilitating building of a repository of a high-quality, internationally benchmarked cases about Indian businesses. OPEX aims at developing technical and management skills of the students. The competition is held every year with the great enthusiasm.
The core purpose of SIOM is to “Nurture Business Leaders.” To make it possible, we believe tomorrow’s Business Leaders must be aware about the latest trends in social, economic, political, business environments and the importance of IT sector in the world. To raise this awareness amongst students SIOM is conducting the “Window of the World (WOW) Competition” (Collage Presentation Competition) for all MBA first year students.
"B-IDEATE" : Business Idea Generation Competition by E-Cell
The objective of B-IDEATE is to induce Business idea generation knowledge in the students through a practical approach.
"Bizzling Blast": Business QUIZ
The logic behind the quiz is to enhance business skills and provide opportunity for business management. The quiz contest will test the knowledge of entrepreneurs in all aspects of business such as operation, marketing, management, finance, investment, brands and the stock market.
Business quiz will prepare and empower students for business success and keep them abreast of business and economic views. The quiz also aims at emphasizing the importance of business intelligence.
"Summer Project Competition"
Sinhgad Institute of Management annually organizes "Summer Project Competition" to encourage second year students who have put in a lot of hard work to make their summer project a success. This competition offers them a platform to showcase their work in presence of judges and the best would be awarded and included in the research publication title 'Construct'
This competition is designed with the objective to understand the Business Environment of various countries across the globe and also to identify the business opportunities in that country.
