Teaching & Learning Process

Institute offer Management Programs which uses Student centric method which is based on experiential learning, participative learning and problem solving methodologies. This gives to the students appropriate Academic Industry interface, so that the students meet the exact requirements of the organization. Institute also takes interest in research and extension.

Experiential learning: Institute makes students to be personally responsible participant, cognitively to get knowledge, skills and attitudes in a learning situation characterized by a high level of active involvement. This is achieved through Project based Teaching which was conducted through subjects like Selling & Negotiation Skills Lab., Microsoft Excel Lab., Internet of Things etc. A full time eight weeks’ summer internship program was provided to MBA students and six months’ industrial project to MCA students to get the practical knowledge of industry.

Participative Learning: Participative Learning is done through regular classes, seminars, induction program, guest sessions etc. Students Training program (STP) was undertaken to groom and prepare the students for their final placements through offline mode. Students Training program (STP) includes mock Interviews, group discussions, aptitude test etc.

Case-Based Learning: Numerous cases of different subjects are conducted by subject expert facultiesfor the students. HBSP cases are used as resource material for this case based learning activity. Curiosity is generated by the faculty members through the sessions so that studentsdevelop the ability to ask questions. Faculty members serve as catalysts in the process of enabling them to develop their creative ability.

  • Systematic – An ordered process is followed.
  • Structured – A definite plan for each subject is made and followed closely.
  • Flexible – System also endorse that each subject needs different treatment. Flexibility is put in by permitting subject teachers to decide its own criterion(s).
  • Creative – Subject teachers use creative methods such as role plays, contests, etc to evaluate students.
  • Comprehensive – Evaluation system not only evaluates students based on academic knowledge but it also judges their skills, aptitude, and application orientation. The system evaluates academic development comprehensively.

  • Viva-Voce: Viva-Voce is conducted by the experts to give feedback to the students who work in the industry and try to find answers for their unsolved issues.
  • Mock Interviews & Workshops: Experts a combination of internal & external resource persons conduct mock interviews with detailed feedback to ensure improvement.
  • Workshops for personal SWOT & Resume /CV building are conducted.
