1.Mr.Priyanshu Kumar has won Best Achiever during Summer Internship at Mahindra First Choice Ltd.during his summer internship programme.He is second year MBA from marketing specialization, 2016-18 batch.

2. Sinhgad Business School feels proud to announce that its alumnus Ms.Ankeeta Joshi is selected for "Peace Ambassadors Program" of Lila Poonawalla Foundation .She will undergo a training in UK for grooming as “Ambassadors of Peace”. Ms. Ankeeta has completed her MBA in Finance Specialization from Sinhgad Business School. We wish her all the Best !!

Lila Fellows undergo training that grooms them to contribute in improving their knowledge repertoire, the quality of their lives as well of their families and the communities they live in. So they learn to contribute towards bringing peace and happiness in the society they live in. They will become confident, responsible young leaders. This program is organized in collaboration with the Asha Foundation, based in UK.

The main objective of this project is to provide the girls a global platform. Started as a noble endeavor to develop value based leaders, the Asha Foundation and LPF in a collaborative effort have organized a 3 week intensive training program for the 24 girls. In this program the girls will have the opportunity to get trained in inter cultural relations, appreciation, learn inter-personal skills, communication, presentation & negotiation, learn Wholesome and Social Leadership Skills and stress management. Followed by visits to the prestigious Oxford University, Bath (To understand in-depth about the Roman Empire) & visit the homes of William Shakespeare, Jane Austen and Volunteer for at the home for the Specially Abled People.

A) Placement Training Program

At SBS the focus on Employability is evidently visible through the activities conducted. The activities include-

  • Aptitude Preparation
  • Psychometric Test & Counseling
  • Group Discussion
  • Mock Personal Interviews
  • Business talks (Current Affairs)

B) Corporate Grooming

Corporate Grooming is an endeavor to nurture the skills of our management students in order to better position them on the corporate battlefield. This activity was conducted throughout the semester by in house faculty so that it enables students to understand various aspects of select Companies to provide them with an overview of Business Operations. At the end of the semester a competition was arranged for final contestants from each division on 26th October 2013.

C) Employability Enhancement Exercise (EEE)

This activity was conducted over a period of 3 months and one lecture per week for all specialization students to enhance their employability. Various activities such as Marathi Big Boss, Placements Procedure, Importance of Summer Projects, Book Review, Biz – Quiz, My Industry Experience are the special features of this activity.


D) Roopganeshache:

SBS organized this event for the students on Wednesday, 11th September, 2013 from 3:00 am to 5:00 pm followed by an exhibition. to reveal different forms of GANESHA to explore their creativity & innovative ideas.


E) Genesis’14 – Career Guidance:

Genesis is the career guidance program which was organized on Friday, 21st March 2014, between 9:00 am to 2:00 pm for final year students of B.B.A, B. Com., B.C.A. and B.B.M. This activity helps them to “Take the right decision at the right time” for their future endeavors. A glimpse of what M.B.A. course has in store for the aspiring students was showcased along with an experiential learning through the Mad Adz competition.

F) Battle Intellect: - National Event of SBS

An event comprising of six exciting management games was organized by Sinhgad Business School, on 12th Oct. 2013. The events tested various skill sets like team building, innovation, creativity leadership, business acumen of the participants. The event was inaugurated at the hands of Mr. Swapnil Patil, Technical Architect - Tech Mahindra Ltd.

G) Cognizance – Be aware

“Cognizance – Be Aware” was a poster making in-house competition for MBA students held on 14th September between 10 am to 12 noon. It provided a platform to showcase the creative talent of the students, making them aware about social and global issues thereby enabling them to think beyond the boundaries of books.
