Sinhgad Business School has organized the alumni meet on July 16, 2022, i.e., Saturday, in the Seminar Hall. The alumni meet is conducted every year in order to reconnect with alumni and celebrate their success and various achievements. The alumni started arriving by 7 p.m., and they were received by the registration team and guided to the seminar hall. The event was anchored by Rajiv Kachi, Yukti Agrawal, and Sakshi Bhoir. The first event, according to batches, was a photograph session with all faculties. After that lamp lighting session in honor of Mother Sarswati, the knowledge-granting deity was attended by Director Dr.Vijaya Puranik, Prof.Sandeep Londhe, Dr.Bharti Kumar, and alumni. Dr. Prashant Kotasthane, sir, gave a welcome speech. After the welcome speech, Director Dr.Vijaya Puranik shared a few thoughts and a PPT that included the past 2 years success story of SBS. In the pandemic, SBS conducted various activities and events like NAAC, online alumni, online guest sessions, celebrating International Yoga Day under the guidance of Dr.Vimaldeep Saxsena, online cultural events, national conferences, newsletter magazine activities, Battel Intellect events, faculty development programs, faculty achievements, PHD guides, and PHD awards. After that, various cultural programs were held, like Kathak performances by Bhakti Shete and Sharwari Mane and music performances by Rajiv Kachi, Yash Shende, and Ragini. After that Alumni Interaction session, there were a few questions raised, and they shared their memories and sang friendship songs. At the end of the event, Vishal Gaikwad conveyed a vote of thanks. After that, everyone proceeded to dinner on the 7th floor. The program concluded with the momentum distribution to mark the memories at SBS.
Sinhgad Business School has organized the alumni meet 2019 on 5th April 2019, The event was conducted in the seminar hall and annex hall form 4 pm till 10 pm. Up to the academic year 2018 ten batches of MBA/PGDM are passed out from SBS since its inception in 2007. Every student who passes out from SBS shared a strong bond with SBS and would like to be associated with SBS and wants to contribute in its development in different forms. To strengthen the relationship with these alumni SBS try hard to conduct several events and keep the alumni engagement continuously; alumni Meet 2019 is also a part of this alumni engagement. Formal registration started by 4.30 PM at the reception which was taken care by Prof.Siddharth Karale and his team, they have taken registration and offered mementos to the Alumni. Actual Program started by 7.30 PM. It was inaugurated by Dr.Vijaya Puranik, Dr.Dhananjay Mandlik, alumni Mr.Digvijay Jadhav and Mr.Anup Mahajan. Director SBS Dr.Vijaya Puranik welcomed the alumni and addressed the gathering. Mr.Ravindra Panicker TPO of SBS and Prof. (Dr.) Dhananjay Mandlik also addressed the alumni. Dr.Vishal Gaikwad has made a PPT presentation of the progress of SBS in last 2 years. The Alumni were delighted to hear of the great strides SBS has taken over the years and shared their thought. Current batch students have performed a cultural program. Many alumni has expressed their love and views towards SBS and promised to contribute for the development of SBS. Alumni’s had shared their memories with the SBS and experience with the industry. Prof.Harshali Bhalerao has proposed vote of thanks. Gala dinner was organised on 8th floor managed by Prof.Sandeep Londhe. The programme concluded at 10.00 PM. The event had an overwhelming response of gratitude from the Alumni, who individually expressed their thanks to the team for organizing the reunion and to the institute for giving them a platform to get together and reconnect at this scale. .
Sinhgad Business School celebrated its 3rd Alumni meet, CONNECT 2017 on Saturday, 25th March 2017. The event was conducted in the seminar hall and annex hall form 4 pm till 10 pm. Alumni registered their names at the registration counter. After registration, the alumni proceeded to the annex hall for refreshment. Lot of games were organized for the entertainment of the Alumni, that not only rejuvenated them, but also gave them a feeling of being back home. The alumni were very enthusiastic and were looking forward to the main function. About 120 Alumni attended the function.
Prof. Pallavi Patil welcomed all the alumni and requested Dr. Chetan Chaudhari, Director SBS, to deliver his address. Dr. Chetan Chaudhari, inaugurated the function along with Prof. Atul Pise and other dignitaries. He then delivered his welcome address. He briefly and heartily welcomed all the alumni, shared his thoughts and gave them best wishes for their future endeavors
A few Alumni shared their thoughts and experiences of their “SBS days”. They were very happy to share that, SBS Faculty members, peers and placement cell were instrumental in their career growth. They shared that it was a feeling of pride to be a “SBSSite”.
Ms. Alima and Mr. Shikhar were the anchors for the rest of the function which included various cultural programs put up by the first and second year MBA students. The cultural program was very energizing for all the participants. There were dances, songs and many cultural performances.
Prof. Vimaldeep Saxena chaired the responsibility of thanking the august gathering. After the formal function, all the alumni headed for the sumptuous dinner. The dinner time was the most awaited moments. Alumni could catch up with their peers and faculty members over dinner. Everybody could talk with each other informally. The alumni nurtured their memories and spoke about their current endeavors. They parted ways to meet again, with a smile on their face and eyes wet like rain…. But surely, is not their last time, for when they are at SBS, they are more than fine. They all parted ways after promising each other to be in touch and meet at the next alumni meet if not earlier.
The entire event was conducted in Marathi Language to celebrate the honor of Marathi Language. The program was inaugurated by Dr Chetan Chaudhari, Director SBS, Prof. Prashant Pawar and Adv. Deepak Tilak. It was followed by a warm welcome speech delivered by Dr. Chetan Chaudhari to welcome all the alumni.
Lot of games were organized for the entertainment of the Alumni, that not only rejuvenated them, but also gave them a feel being back home, bringing out the enthusiasm and zeal in them
This was followed by Cultural programs organized by the first and second year students. These include various Marathi and Hindi songs and Marathi folk dances in and Shayari by the students. This added an extra touch to the Marathi day celebrations as well.
After the cultural program all the alumni headed for the dinner. The dinner time was the most awaited of all moments, since this was the time where the alumni had a hearty talk with their peers. The nurtured their memories and spoke about their current endeavors.
