Sinhgad Business School in association with Maharashtra Chambers of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture (MCCIA) hosted its 2nd State Seminar Aashay. The theme for this seminar was Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in India: Challenges and Opportunities.
This seminar attempted to delve into the trials, tribulations and opportunities faced by MSME sector in India, one of the biggest contributors to the country’s GDP. Ms. Zamarrud Ansari, Assistant Professor, Sinhgad Business School took the audience through the seminar which was spread over two days. SBS invited research papers from academicians and corporate world. A stellar line up of speakers from the MSME sector gave the audience a deep insight into various topics pertaining to the MSME sector.
The Chief Guest and Keynote Speaker was Mr. Gharpure, Chairman - Gharpure Group of Companies. Speakers like Mr Tejani, MD - Gits Food Pvt. Ltd., Mr Shekhar Agharkar, Director - Arthtech Consultant Pvt. Ltd., Mr Shailendra Goswami, Chairman and MD - Pushkaraj Engineering Enterprise Pvt. Ltd., regaled the audience with their expertise in topics like brand management of MSME’s, challenges of an outsourced CFO, and opportunities in the automobile sector etc.
The seminar was covered by a number of national dailies like Sakaal, Indian Express, Maharashtra Times etc and saw a mix of audience and corporate audience.
