7. Is there any medical facility available in the campus?

Yes. Campus clinic is available. The students can avail the facility for free of cost. In case of requirement advance medical facilities are available at SKN hospital, Narhe.

8. Does NBN SSOCS provide hostel facility?

9. What are the rules for student’s attendance?

A student must have a minimum attendance of 75 percent of the total number of classes including lectures, tutorials and hundred percent in practical held in a course in order to be eligible to appear in the University Examination for that course. A student should meet the above attendance requirement irrespective of the number of days he/she is on medical and /or other leave for any reason whatsoever. Those students whose attendance is less than 75 percent shall not be allowed to appear in the university Examination.

10. Is anti-ragging rule followed by NBN Sinhgad School of Computer Studies?

Yes. As Ragging is CRIMINAL OFFENCE, it is strictly prohibited as per (SLP (C) No. 24295/2004), judgment of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India. It state that, “If any incident of  ragging comes to the notice of the Institute authority, the concerned student shall be given liberty to explain and if his explanation is not found satisfactory, the authority will expel him from the Institution”.

11. What is the placement facility provided by college to students?

Considering the large number of students pursuing various courses from all Sinhgad Institutes, a Central Placement Cell (CPC) has been constituted. The centralized Placement activity has resulted in maximizing resources of placement teams providing ample opportunities for students and logistic convenience to the corporate.

12. What infrastructure does college provides to students?

Institute has big centralized library which is available 24*7. Also there is well equipped computer lab and language lab for conducting soft skills sessions for MCA students.

13. What extracurricular activities are conducted in the NBN SSOCS?

For the overall development of the students NBNSSOCS organizes workshops, seminars, various cultural events along with national & international level technical events. Also every year Sinhgad Technical Education Society organizes mega event “SINHGAD KARANDAK” for students of all sinhgad institutes.

14. What about mess facilities in institute for students.

Separate mess facilities are available for boys & girls. Along with mess there are 4 restaurants available in campus which provides variety of foods as per the demand of the students.
