What is MCA?

MCA is a 3 year Post Graduate Program in Computer Applications Provided by Universities in India. Following is the yearly course content of the Program.

1st year is devoted to Basic concepts in Computer Technology

2nd year is concentrates on higher level concepts in Computer Applications

3rd year is devoted to Specialization and Industrial Project.

What is the need of this course?

Computing and computer technology are part of just about everything that touches our lives from the cars we drive, to the movies we watch, to the ways businesses and governments deal with us. Understanding different dimensions of computing is a part of the necessary skill set for an educated person in the 21st century. Whether you want to be a scientist, develop the latest killer application, or just know what it really means when someone says “the computer made a mistake”, studying computing will provide you with valuable knowledge.

What is the admission procedure for MCA?

You should have gained passing marks in your graduation with mathematics as a subject and should also qualify the examination conducted by SGI.

What are the eligibility criteria for MCA?

Generally graduates in any discipline, with Mathematics as one of the major subjects in Senior Secondary School i.e. classes (XI & XII) or above is eligible. Students in the final year of their graduation are also eligible provided they submit the proof of their completing graduation by a specified date. You should have scored passing marks in graduation with mathematics as a subject.

What are the career opportunities after pursuing MCA?

Indian Software professionals are the first choice with clients in the U.S., Europe and in other parts of the world. Individuals with an Engineering degree in Computers or those with an MCA/PG Diploma in Computer Applications from Top Institutes are preferred by Employers as Software Developers. While there is no way of ensuring lifetime IT employment, there are steps students and IT workers can take to improve their chances of long-term employment in IT occupations. These include obtaining a strong educational foundation, learning the technologies used in the global software industry, keeping skills up to date throughout one’s career, developing good teamwork and communication skills, and becoming familiar with other cultures.

What is the percentage or possibility of placements?

Almost students will get placed such try will do college. Aptitude tests n technical trainings are also provided.

Is fees payment in installments is allowed?

In some exceptional cases it is Allowed.
