1. When was SKNSSBM founded?

Ans: SKN SSBM was established in 2010.

 

2. What is the procedure for MBA admission?

Ans: As per the DTE, Government of Maharashtra Procedure (Ref. website www.dte.org.in).

 

3. What is the procedure for MBA Program to get admission?

Ans: Candidate has to appear for MHT CET / CMAT / CAT examination.

 

4. What is the fee structure?

Ans: As per the Shikshan Shulka Samiti. Fees for open category for academic year 2021- 22 is Rs.104000 and for category students as mentioned in fees section.

 

5. Where is SKN Sinhgad School of Business Management (SKNSSBM) located?

Ans: SKNSSBM is located at Sinhgad Road (Ambegaon BK), in Pune (Maharashtra- India) or it can be approached from bypass highway.

7. What is the availability of Hostels?

Ans: There are sufficient no. of hostels for boys and girls. Separate hostels for foreign national students. For details contact Estate Manager/ Hostel Warden. (Contact Number: 020-24357021, 24100000, 24355884)

 

8. What are Attendance rules?

Ans: A student must have a minimum attendance of seventy five percent of the total number of classes including lectures, seminars, practical held in a course in order to be eligible to appear in the University Examination for that course. Those students whose attendance is less than 75% shall not be allowed to appear in the university Examination.

9. In case somebody falls ill, what should he/she do?

Ans: There is a Clinic in the campus managed by Institute. In case of emergency, the patient can be shifted to any reputed nearby hospital. Please contact the Warden / Asst. Warden / Estate Manager for shifting a student to a hospital. All type of medical support and facilities are given free of cost to all in our Medical College Hospital, “Smt. Kashibai Navale General Hospital and Research Centre”, Narhe-Ambegaon, Pune.

 

10. Is the guest house facility available for my parents/relatives? If yes how the booking can be done?

Ans: Yes, it is available. For booking please contact Estate Manager.

Ans: As per the revised MBA Curriculum 2019 of Savitribai Phule Pune University The Institute offers following specializations.

12. How frequently industrial tours are conducted?

Ans: Long tours are conducted once in every year. One day industrial visit are regular affairs as academic requirements.

 

13. What teaching pedagogy is used in the Institute?

Ans: Case study approach, small projects, Presentations are taken to give student a practical outlook. Role-plays are also conducted to inculcate the required skill sets.

 

14. How are students groomed for their placements?

Ans: Institute has designed its own student training programme (STP), wherein students are extensively groomed so that they are corporate ready. Continuous practice for Aptitude tests, group discussions and personal interviews is given. Also, their competencies are analysed using our in-house competency mapping tool kit. This helps them in understanding their strengths and weaknesses.

 

15. What extra-curricular activities do students of SKNSSBM have?

Ans: SKNSSBM has recently launched an investment group known as “Investomania”. It’s a group created by the students, for the students. Students gather and discuss about investment avenues, financial planning to name a few. Institute has also started its E-Cell “Ankur”. The aim of this cell is to encourage and guide its students to become entrepreneurs. Guest lectures, workshops are planned for guiding the students to have their own start-up.

 

16. What co-curricular activities are there for the students?

Ans: Sinhgad Karandak is a flagship event of STES. Students are given a platform to bring together fresh ideas and to showcase their talents. It is a blend of 100+ business events.

 

17. Does a student get an opportunity to interact with industry professionals?

Ans: We at SKNSSBM adopted a multi-prong approach to ensure that a student gets an opportunity to interact with professionals across various industries through National conferences on contemporary business themes, seminar, webinars, and guest sessions.

 

18. Does placement assistance is provided to step in the industry?

Ans: With a strong industry association and alumni base spread across various industry, we do provide the assistance for final placement through a dedicated placement cell.
