Annual Prize Distribution Function-2019




The annual prize distribution function was organized at Sinhgad Institute of management and computer applications, Narhe, Pune on 12th April 2019 at Shivaji Hall. The entire management department participated wholeheartedly towards the success of this event. The triumph was possible by the relentless efforts of faculty members as well as students.

Guest of Honour for the function was Mr.Rajendra Singh Thakur, Regional head, Times Of India. He is into finance department of TOI and also is a social activist. The programme was attended by the students and staff members.

The event started with the welcome and introduction of chief guest.

Dr. Anamika Singh, Director, SIMCA felicitated our chief guest and shared few words with students. She made a mention of “we are not only offers the best in academics but also encourages an overall development of the students through various activities.”

Mr.Rajendra Singh Thakur shared his thoughts with the students. He told us the importance of knowledge in our life. He told to never give up on anything and keep questioning. ‘well begun is half done’ is what he said to students. Mr.Rajendra explained 5 H of a successful life that are Happy, Healthy, Humble, Honest and High dreams.

The students were honored for their academic and nonacademic (Co-curricular and Extracurricular) achievements by the chief guest and Director SIMCA. This program really left a great impact on everyone. The chief guest congratulated the Director and staff on the progress made by the college.

There was voting system arranged for the most awaited prize that was Best Departing Student Award 2019. There were four nominees and voting was done by the student and the candidate with more votes got awarded.
