Appreciation and awareness of NPTEL Certification

I.E.I students chapter 2019-2020 organized NPTEL certification and Awareness along with felicitation of Teacher’s and Students on 24th january 2020. Our invited guest was Dr. D.D.Chaudhary sir. On this occasion our Vice-Principal DR.D.D. Chaudhary received a certificate for single point of contact (SPOC) of NPTEL. Many of our faculty members and students were awarded by the certificate of NPTEL. At this moment our Vice Principal Dr. D.D.Chaudhary guided our faculty members and students with their valuable speech for the awareness of NPTEL.

B.E Project implementation for E&Tc

I.E.I students chapter 2019-20 organized Expert Lecture on Project Implementation on 4th October 2019. Speaker for Expert Lecture was Mr. S. M Desai sir Director of Commbit technologies pvt ltd. Project implementation and examples for many of the project where explained.It was the Best interactive session by the sir. Attendance of whole B.E E&Tc was Appreciated.

How to design PCB

I.E.I students chapter 2019-20 organized Expert Lecture on HOW TO DESIGN A PCB on 26 th September 2019. Speaker for Expert Lecture was Dr. D.D. Chaudhary Sir. Vice principal of SIT Lonavala. In this seminar students learned how to design a PCB and how to implement it. This session is conducted by Dr.D.D.Chaudhary sir as it is very important to know about PCB designing for E&TCstudents as it has use in their projects . It was the Best interactive session by the sir. Attendance of whole T.E E&TC was Appreciated.

Information about VHDL

I.E.I students chapter 2019-20 organized Expert Lecture on VHDL on 22 nd September 2019. Speaker for Expert Lecture was Dr. R.V.Babar Sir. Entc Department. In this workshop students learned about every single important information about VHDL and what is its use . It was the Best interactive session by the sir. Attendance of whole B.E E&Tc and S.E(Comp,IT) was Appreciated.

Engineers day and teacher's Day celebration

I.E.I students chapter 2019-2020 organized Engineer's day & Teacher's day programme along with felicitation of Teacher’s and Inauguration of "I.E.I student chapter 2019-2020" on 21st October 2019. Our invited guest was Mr. Nikhil sir. Inauguration of I.E.I student chapter 2019-20 was done by our chief guest with the concept of IOT. On this occasion our Vice-Pprincipal DR.D.D. Chaudhary received a certificate for single point of contact (SPOC) of NPTEL. Many of our faculty members and students were awarded by the certificate of NPTEL. We also awarded our P.H.D completed faculty members. Our next award for Best teacher was received by Prof. Rakesh Badodekar (IT dept.).Then the best department award was received by Information Technology (I.T) department of our college. At this moment our Principal Dr. M .S. Gaikwad Sir and the chief guest Mr. Nikhil Sir guided our faculty members and students with their valuable speech.

Guest Lecture on DBMS and SQL

I.E.I students chapter 2019-20 organized Guest Lecture on DBMS and SQL on 1th Aug 2019. Speaker for Guest Lecture was Mr. Nishant Pachpor sir. Attendance of whole T.E E&Tc was Appreciated. Vast knowledge on DBMS and SQL of Mr. Nishant Pachpor sir, guided student and helped them a lot.

The I.E.I club organized the “Guest Lecture” on 5 th April 2019. The invited guest was Mr. Sujit Wagh from Wikinote, Pune. The chief guest delivered lecture on Embedded system design using MSP430 Processor and overview of Advanced Processor.

The I.E.I club organized the “Guest Lecture” on 18th Sep. 2018. The invited guest was Dr. A. A. Kalage and Prof. Kalgunde M.N. from Electrcal dept, SIT. They guided S.E (E&TC) students on Network Theorems.

The Vodafone Committee is a project initiated by Sinhgad Institute of Technology, Lonavla to track the latest information of Vodafone Company and accordingly create a vision for students so that the gap between being in a college and working in a company is filled.

Objectives:

Through this club, we’ll be in constant touch with the Vodafone Company.

1. The students will be visiting the Vodafone Company Campus to get to know the actual working of the company.

2. Few sessions will be conducted for SE, TE as well as BE relating to the topics of curriculum.

3. Final year student can grab the opportunity to select their BE Projects and they can try for good sponsored project.

4. In coordination with Vodafone we will arrange seminars, or workshops or contests for all the students.

5. The Company will also look into the research ideas for faculty members and help them along the way.

Business club of SIT is established in the year 2007 by our earlier  Principle Dr. S S Inamdar sir. Previously this activity was conducted centrally by all departments. Afterward  it is transferred to department level from year  2011. The motive of business club is  to create Knowledge sharing platform among students.  Activity mainly focus on third year student so as to prepare them to face placement interviews or to motivate them to become Entrepreneur.  It include Case study on recent technology update , Technical news , Business news and Quiz. Students prepare presentation and present  in front of students

“ World’s Entrepreneur    Day Celebration

E&TC Business Club & Entrepreneur Development Cell SIT Lonavala had organized an Entrepreneur Day Celebration on 22nd August 2015 in E&TC Seminar hall. In this event Business plane competition, Poster presentations were organized for students. Total eight Business plane were presented by students which were judged by five judges. Mrs. Shilpa Shinde along with student coordinator organized the activity.

 

“QUIZE COMPITATION”

Business club of E&TC Department organized an “BUSINESS QUIZ  on 2nd September 2015 Total thirteen  groups participated . Participation certificates were issued. Mrs. Shilpa Shinde was judged the competition and coordinated whole event .

Blood Donation Camp World Blood Donor Day is celebrated on the 14th of June every year to mark the birth anniversary of Karl Lansteiner who discovered the blood group system.

TEACHER’S DAY CELEBRATION

TEACHER’S DAY celebration was organized on 12th Sep 2015 by e-SITizen Club for all faculty members of E&TC under the stewardship of Prof. S.K.More. The event was organized in ENTC Department of SIT Lonavala. e-SITizen Club inaugurated ‘PARANGAT 2015’- for felicitation of toppers of E&TC .

Around 80 students along with teachers and dignitaries including Principal, Vice Principal, Head of Department (E&TC) attended this event. Faculty members were awarded with appreciation letter for their excellent results in various subjects. Various Games and Quiz were organized for teachers and students.

Engineers Day Celebration

September 15 is celebrated every year in India as Engineer's Day to commemorate the birthday of the legendary engineer Sir M. Visvesvaraaiyya (1861-1962).Internationally recognized for his genius in harnessing water resources, he was responsible for successful design and construction of several river dams, bridges and implementing irrigation and drinking water schemes all over India.
