Association of Computer Engineering Student’s: (ACES)

The Computer Engineering Student’s Association was formed on August 2007. The students’ association is the pivot around which the extra-curricular activities are initiated which play a significant role in the life of the students. They serve as an important platform for arranging lectures by eminent engineers, debates, competitions, general knowledge quiz, essay competitions and various programmes and, in general, stimulate interest of student in the diverse spheres of knowledge.

Objectives:

  • To strive for synchronization between academic learning and Industry.
  • To be con-current with the latest development.
  • Overall Personality development of student.
  • To develop the organizing Skills of student.
  • To promote Team-Work.

Microsoft Campus Club

Objectives:

  1. The MSP program  under club enhances students' employability by offering training in skills not usually taught in academia, including knowledge of Microsoft technologies.
  2. Make Student Partners to further share the knowledge among the academic community by, for example, arranging courses, giving presentations and initiating projects.
  3. The MSP program under club is an educational and promotional program to sponsor undergraduate and postgraduate students majoring in disciplines related to technology.
  4. Aims to enhance students' employability and increase students' awareness of Microsoft   technologies. Student Partners are offered training especially in product-specific skills not typically taught in academia.
  5. The Club aims to increase awareness of Microsoft products, programs and initiatives. Consequently, the program helps expanding the user base of Microsoft products, and results in better availability of properly educated workforce in those technologies.

Spectra in association with Microsoft Campus club, a full day event filled with sessions and hands on, on the latest technologies and events delivered by members of Pune User Group and organized by the students for the students. In the sole purpose of increasing the buzz of latest gadgets awareness about upcoming technologies.

Event Description:

"Pune User Group", A great place to start learning, Pune User Group (aka PUG) is a Pune (India) based not-for-profit organization, an association of professionals and students interested in Microsoft technology who are dedicated and devoted to the noble cause of spreading knowledge. It is a platform for you to share your experiences and educate professionals through the learnt lessons of the best Gurus in IT industry. It organizes Microsoft  Azure to Encourage students.


World Imagination Cup (2015-16)

Event Description:

Imagine Cup is a global student technology program and competition that provides opportunities for students across all disciplines to team up and use their creativity, passion and knowledge of technology to create applications, games and integrate solutions that can change the way we live, work and play.
