I am working as a vice principal and professor in E & TC department of Sinhgad institute of Technology. The working conditions are very much comfortable for teaching learning process. Being a residential campus staff and student can spend more time for curricular and co-curricular activities. I got opportunity to visit Aalborg University for my PhD work with European scholarship under faculty development program of our Institute.

Working with Sinhgad has given me great exposure and lot of learning opportunities . The system over here is quite transparent because of which things turns out to be easy.
Being fully residential campus present a unique opportunity in terms of availability of students for 24 hours. A very unique model of Value Addition Programs (VAP) is implemented to ensure project based learning (PBL). VAP has been proved to be a successful tool to bridge the gap between University curriculum and industry expectations. Presentations, Group Discussions, various competitions and technical festivals have been proved to be useful for life skill development of students.
We have taken efforts in order to get industry sponsored projects so that students get exposed to industry environment. Campus extended programs by good number of industries has added much more learning to students. Apart of this we have signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with IBM, Infosys Ltd for their campus connect programs.
We are able to achieve consistent placement of our students with focused placement training, starting in 3rd year itself and preparing them for placement interview.
