The Department of MCA (Under faculty of Engineering) was established in 2008 under the affiliation of University of Pune, recognized by Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra State & AICTE, New Delhi with an intake of 60 students.
Department aims at imparting comprehensive knowledge with equal emphasis on theory and practical as per university and industry requirement. Our students are encouraged to spend a full semester working in the industry giving them insight into the working of IT world. However our curriculum will have enough flexibility to enable our students to undertake advance studies in computer science and IT.
Department has well experienced teaching staff with extreme focus on research work. All state of the art laboratories help student to execute practical assignments along with innovative work and research activities.
Value addition programs (VAPs) have been introduced to bridge semantic gap between curriculum and industry expectations. VAPs help students to acquire expertise in core and advance technologies by doing projects during training time.
Students get exposure to life skill development through various activities like Business club, Astro club, Da Vinci club, Microsoft club, music club and departmental student forum named Afflatus. Placement record of two passed batches is definitely our asset and appreciation to the efforts taken by students and staff. We are highly focused on placement of all students in multinational companies and provide platform for higher education and research.
