On a journey to fulfill my academic goals, I joined the Sinhgad Family to pursue my Masters Degree. During the remarkable three years, I stumbled upon a whole new world of opportunities. It helped me come out of my cocoon and made me “Real - World Ready”. A team lead by visionary directors and management had made our journey a fruitful one.
The Serene campus which is away from the Chaotic city, is Self-Sufficient in many ways, academically the concept of Project Based Learning which was imbibed by Dr. S.S Inamdar then Director of our esteemed campus, was the most welcoming aspect which contributed to providing more productive time to pupils. Opportunities were in abundance at SIT. Activities such as Value Addition Programs, Sports Events, and Club meets kept us engaged. Clubs of all genre were available which were managed by Students such as Business Club, Astro Club, Robotics Club to name a few. Our very own active Student Forum “Afflatus” has provided students of MCA (Under Faculty of Engg) opportunity to harness their management, leadership and soft skills.
We were given a golden opportunity to be a part of Erasmus Mundus Student Exchange program sponsored by European Commision. This turned out to be a stepping stone to success and has catalysed my career prospects. It was also one of the colleges that was selected a as Host University by many foreign students.
Academics and curriculum would be accomplished anywhere but the value added to the whole process by the staff of the MCA(Under faculty of Engg) at SIT is commendable. With regular Guest Lectures from Industrialist we always had a check on what is “IN”.
Finaly All in all you end having a world of our own that one would cherish for a long time.

I had spent three years in Sinhgad Institute of Technology, Lonavala which is located in hilly areas of beautiful Sahyadri Mountain ranges with pleasures environment which you will fell in love with. I got admission to complete my masters in computer application.
In these three years my life has changed I got opportunity to be a part of student exchange program in Europe and it transform my standard of living and the thought process. I got opportunity to work on International project which was part of 33rd International Software Engineering Conference held in Hawaii.
There are a wide range of social and personal development opportunities on offer here. Throughout the Academic Year there are a range of activities/events/competitions. These include so many student groups encompassing various aspects of growth and upbringing of students in challenging and ever changing environment of competition and corporate life such as IBM center of excellence and Zensar center of excellence.
Some national and international opportunities like Erasmus Mundus Program for student exchange program which I was part of. There really is something for everyone! There is also the opportunity to get your voice heard. For e.g. I started a Youth empowerment skills workshop association with “THE ART OF LIVING” which is running successfully.
College has realistic approach towards futuristic changes in technology with this vision our Principal Mr. S.S.Inamdar has started Global ICT Standardization Forum for India (GISFI) with association of various telecom players like Airtel,DOCOMO,Internantional Telecom Union (ITU) which allows students and professors to be a part of standardization research and development in telecommunication.
Sinhgad Institute of Technology has objective of providing excellence in residential campus leaning across Maharashtra with eminent and highly qualified staff dedicated for providing good education to student.
STES family has excellent placement records with centralize placement system for all campus. More than 50 big MNC’s comes for recruitment. I got placed in Symantec through our college campus drive.
