  1. What is the process of admission ?

    2. Ans : Candidates who qualify for the MBA Course through MHCET, fill the option form stating their choice of institute. Those who prefer SCOE, Department of Management Studies report as per the schedule given by DTE Office. Candidates fill up the admission form and the fees in the mode of payment by DD. The required documents are submitted to confirm the admission process.

  2. What are the unique features of hostel?
    3. Ans:  Sufficient number of hostels for  girls and boys with proper security.  Separate hostels for Foreign National Students.

     

  3. If I have to stay in hostel what kind of facilities are available in campus ?
    4. Ans : Campus has excellent hostel facilities and other amenities like Open theatres, Bank and ATM facilities, Campus Clinic, Market for essential commodities, Beauty Salons, Restaurants.

     

  4. Are there any sports and cultural activities conducted? How to participate in cultural and sports activities?

    5. Ans: STES arranges numerous activities in form of Inter and Intra Collegiate competitions.  Sports and cultural  coordinator of college coordinate timely and inform students about the activities. STES organizes annual Sinhgad Karandak which provides a platform for showcasing talents of the students

     

  5. How will I get placed through campus placement?

    6. Ans : There is a Central Placement cell for Management students. The Department placement coordinator assists in placement activities. Depending on the company requirements and eligibility criteria the students are shortlisted  for placement.

     

  6. How frequently  industrial tours are conducted ?

    7. Ans : Long tours are conducted once in every year.  One day industrial visit are regular affairs as academic requirements.

     

  7. What are the attendance rules ?

    8. Ans : Minimum 75% of total number of classes irrespective of the no. of days he / she  is on medical / other leave.

     

  8. Is anti ragging rule executed in SCOE ?
    9. Ans: Yes

     

  9. Is Medical aid available nearby?

    10. Ans: Yes, There is a clinic on the campus. All type of medical support is given free of cost at “Smt. Kashibai Navale General Hospital & Research Center, Narhe- Ambegaon, Pune”

     

  10. Is there any grievance cell in the college ?

    11. Ans: Yes, The Grievance Redressal Cell is operated by Principal. The problems of students are directed  to head.  The senior faculty members are appointed for the purpose of examining the cases and take necessary action.

     

  11. How many types of specializations are offered in MBA course?

    12. Ans: The Department offers all six specializations viz : Marketing , Finance , Systems , Operations, Human Resources, International Business.

     

  12. Will I get any career counselling for  placement or for selecting specialization?

    13. Ans: Special training and placement programs are arranged. Expertise from industries are invited to guide and counsel students on placement activities.

  13. How to avail library facilities ?

    14. Ans: Students can avail Central Library facility and Department Library facility. Central library gives library cards.  E-journals are available. Central browsing facility and Reading hall are available in Central library.

  14. In case of emergencies will I get any leave during the academic session ?

    15. Ans: Short Leaves can be sanctioned by teacher guardian appointed. Long leave in case of emergencies required to get it sanctioned by higher authorities. Students should get the leave sanctioned before going on leave.
