Tree Plantation - “Lets Plant Trees to make Mother Earth Green, Clean and Healthy”
On 9th October, 2011, as a symbolic gesture, we, the student members of “Social Responsibility Cell (SRC)” of the Sinhgad School of Business Studies, Pune, carried out a tree planting ceremony here in the compound of Central Water and Power Research Station (CWPRS), Pune. This is a movement towards a deeper commitment to environmental protection through planting new trees and taking care of the existing ones. Trees and forests are closely linked to weather patterns and also the maintenance of a crucial balance in nature. Hence, the task of environment protection is a universal responsibility of all of us.
The student members of “Social Responsibility Cell (SRC)” have initiated this movement under the guidance of SRC in-charge Dr.Ramanando Khundrakapm, Dr.Ashutosh Gadekar, Prof. Manoj Kulkarni and Prof. Nishant Vasatkar; and Mr.Rajendra Aswale, Chief Administrative Officer, CWPRS, Pune, has lent his co-operation for this cause.
