A Three Day National Conference on “Strategic Management: A Global Challenge” between 3-5 February 2012
Eminent scholars such as Dr.Prasanna Chandra, Director, Centre for Financial Management, Bangalore, Dr.Kamal Ghose, Professor-Markeing, Lincoln University, New Zealand and Dr.Marta M. Ferrer, Director, ICAI ICADE, Comillas, Madrid, Spain were invited as Chief Guest, Chairperson & Guest of Honour at the conference.
Dr.Prasanna Chandra insisted on value creation for stake holders, sustenance of the organization with the help of real-time Indian corporate examples. Dr.Marta Ferrer shared her views on strategic human resource management with the help of cultural diversity. Dr.Kamal Ghose co-related various strategic moves of Chatrapati Shivaji with strategic business management.
Scholars, academicians and students from different business schools from India and other countries shared their thinking/ideas and research findings that provided a forum for discussion, collaboration and intellectual exchange on issues related to Strategic Management. A collection of 56 quality research papers were presented.
