SKN Sinhgad Institute of Technology and Science has zero tolerance policy against discrimination and sexual harassment of women at workplace. As per the directives given by the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace Act, 2013 the “Internal Complaint Committee” (ICC) against women’s harassment is formed in the Institute. This cell helps to provide safe and productive working environment to their girl students and female staff to perform without fear of any type of harassment.

Objectives of the cell:

• To prevent the sexual harassment of women in the institute
• To prohibit the harassment of female student and staff in and around the institute.
• To redress the issues pertaining to girls’/women’s sexual harassment.
• To equip the female students and staff members with knowledge of their legal rights.
• To provide a platform for listening to complaints and redressal of grievances.
• To provide the counseling of female member in the institute.
• To incorporate hygiene habits and ensure a healthy atmosphere in and around the college.
• To provide the healthy, peaceful and safe working environment for all female staff and students.
